Hello, my name is Anita Gibbs.

My Services

I am a licensed conveyancer and offer residential and commercial conveyancing services on a locum basis to law firms in the Greater Manchester area. It could be to provide a ‘helping pair of hands’ during a busy period or covering holiday/sickness or maternity cover. I can work office-based or remotely.

I can offer advice on a consultancy basis on the conveyancing process, setting up a department or implementing new systems as well as providing ongoing on-the-job practical training.

Experience

I have over 20 years’ experience dealing with both freehold and leasehold properties, leasehold flats, equity release, transfer of equity, shared ownership, and the Help to Buy scheme.

I have acted for clients with the surrender and regrant of their business lease, for both the landlord and the tenant’s sides, plus new leases of units, sales and purchases of businesses.

I can offer my expertise on a consultancy basis.

I have provided on-the-job training for paralegals.

I have trained trainees, set procedures in place and provided guidance as required.

I treat people how I would like to be treated, whether it is dealing with the director to the cleaner, I am polite, courteous and approachable.

People assume that as a locum I just walk away at the end of an assignment and don’t look back.

Nothing could be further from the truth, I want firms or companies to book me again, to cover as and when needed, with confidence.

I am a member of the ​Society of Licensed Conveyancers.

I am authorised by the governing body, the Council for Licensed Conveyancers.

I am a qualified conveyancer who is self-motivated with strong communications skills. I have a methodical and professional approach to work and am able to prioritise my work to meet tight deadlines. I am happy to work on my own initiative or part of a team. I have extensive experience in the use of digital dictation and case management systems including full computerised and paperless systems.
